Two Baby Pandas Born During Olympics
Just in time for the Olympic Games, a pair of giant pandas have been born in China.
Bei Bei and Huan Huan have been named after two of the Olympic mascots because they were born on the second day of the 2008 Games.
The twins were born to 9-year-old 'Qi Zhen', who gave birth after a pregnancy extending over 100 days. The birth took place at the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, near Chengdu, in Sichuan province.

Those are indeed cute little creatures. I'd love to have a panda in my room too. Is it possible?

i am an animal lover. i love 'all' animals not just pandas.
i am going to start a movement that is long overdue.
a payback movement...
i think we should put a bounty on panda skins until the chinese get it.
it would be a good lesson for the chinese if we poached as many pandas as we could and made stuffed animals out of the skins.
we could put the stuffed pandas' next to all the rarietes you would find in CHINESE SHOPS that are removed from other endangered animals such as....
shark fins
whale meat
gorilla paws
polar/grizzly bear paws
polar/grizzly bear gall bladders
rhino horns
elephant tusks
tiger penises
tiger skins
snow lepard skins
lion skins
etc
how would the chinese feel if we did the same thing to their beloved pandas as THEY do to other animals that are equally treasured?
maybe they would pay more attention to the illegal markets they create for other nation's endangered species.
fair is fair!
screw the chinese!
